Black History Month Speaker Series
The Indianapolis Y’s Men and Women’s Club and the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is inviting the community to its Black History Month Speaker Series. On February 10, Patricia Payne, Director, IPS Crispus Attucks Foundation will be the guest speaker. Her theme is “Celebrating a Rich Black History.” On February 17, Joseph Smith, Executive Director, IPS Education Foundation will discuss his “Observation of an African-American President.”
Both presentations will be held at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, 650 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis. Tickets are $10 per person/session and includes lunch. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at 12:00 p.m.
